This is a full bedroom with a walk-in closet - but it’s in a four-bedroom home, and today’s buyers value dedicated office space as much (if not more) thank an extra bedroom. Therefore, we took the opportunity created by the bi-fold doors to stage this space as a big, bright office with a mid-century flair by pulling all the seller’s various pieces of teak furniture scattered around the house together into this one room. By bringing in a handful of more current accent pieces and consulting with the buyer on the new carpet and wall color (Benjamin Moore’s Silver Dollar, which was already on the wall in our “before” picture) we helped bring new life to this vintage furniture and give the whole room a fresh, new feel. At the end of the day, this room was the cherry on top of this luxury property!
