BROOKLINE CONDO MASTER SUITE

This master was part of a beautifully maintained early 20th century Brookline condo and, like most New England homes from that time, it had practically no storage whatsoever. While we typically would have asked the owners to remove the large armoires so as not to draw attention to the lack of storage, that was highly impractical because this family was still living there while the condo was listed. Therefore, we did what we could to make the closet as useful as possible by having them remove the over-the-door shoe rack and replaced it with (almost) hidden shoe storage under the bed. By embracing the small storage as it was, we allowed the armoires to demonstrate how the room could be used to compensate for that lack of storage. In fact, the buyer loved it so much that she installed a permanent wall closet system where the armoires were before moving it (and actually wanted to buy the armoires, but the sellers loved them too much to part with them).
